Modest Clothing Sites:

www.SwimModest.com  -  I've seen one of these swimsuits on a 9 year old girl in our group and it was very flattering, very pretty, and looked so comfortable to swim and play in.

A great website that provides all kinds of forms for homeschool moms, anywhere from calendars and datebooks to art lessons is:  www.donnayoung.org    Have fun browsing this site!

A favorite from one of our home school moms:

"I have been using His Grace Works planners for 10 years now.  There is a tape that explains how to use it.  I've tried to make a point to listen to it every year to help get me back on track.  I think if I had to narrow it down to one resource that is my favorite, this would be it.  His Grace Works planners can be found at www.HisGraceWorks.com " - D.F.

Want a great program that helps elementary children with reading, spelling, typing, and phonics?  Look at http://www.clicknkids.com     I've seen children using this program and it is really thorough!  It is a computer program that takes a child about 30-40 minutes per lesson.  A sample lesson is on the site.

Science Recommendations:

Bob Jones University Press student science books are wonderful to have and to read through anytime with your students.  However, for the upper level sciences, like Biology and Chemistry, I highly recommend Apologia Science (www.apologia.com)  books by author Dr. Jay Wile.  After teaching several different Science curriculums, I named his as the very best on easy to use and understand.  For lower grades, our family just read through the hardcover student books from Bob Jones, and I didn't get occupied with grading papers in that subject or doing worksheets until Chemistry.  As a result, my kids did love science and what they were learning.  You can find both curricula at www.christianbooks.com

This is a new page to our website.

I'd love for you moms to send me a recommendation of a book or curriculum that you have really liked and write a short review.  Send it on the

"Contact Us" page.

Thank you!
